Chapter 2

Abstract- In the next morning the regiment finds out the tall soldier Jim is wrong and that there not going to march that day. Henry is still very worried and watchs other solders and sees if they have any signs of worrying. They then get orders to move one day and talk amongest themselves and wonder if there going to see a battle while Henry is to busy worrying about himself. They see a fat man try and steal a horse, but a girl prevents him and the soldiers are amused. They then stop and Henry asks Wilson another soldier about being scared and running away and Wilson tells he would do his job. Henry becomes even more distressed as the campout.
Response- I think Henry will be scared throughout the book until he truely talks about his feelings with someone who will be willing to talk to him and help. Henry is truely trying to fit in and is lying to himself when saying hes not scared.
Question- why does the fat man try and steal a horse is that somethin they did back then?
