Abstract- In this chapter Henry sees his side start to retreat and trys to stop a soldier to find out what happened and the soldier hits him in the head with the butt of his gun. Henry then gets up and a friendly soldier helps him to find his regiment the runs off into the woods and Henry didn' t even see his face.
Response- I don't understand why that man would hit him when Henry just calmy asked him a question when the other man helped him out right away. I also don't get why Henry didn't see the mans face and if that will haunt him later on.
Question- Was the man that helped Henry somebody he knew?
